Projects and Prayers for Zone 1 -
1. Project Support - We pray for wisdom in soliciting support for our united efforts within the General Conference of the Church in the United States and Canada.  The Church of God (Seventh Day) recognizes and affirms the centrality of the local church in achieving the Great Commission.  To make a maximum impact upon our needy world, moreover, we unite the Church's efforts behind Missions.  Thus we seek the prayers and financial support of ...

-All congregations that claim affiliation with the General Conference.  Fifteen percent of our members' faithful tithes, plus designated offerings, flow from the local church through the districts to the Conference offices in Denver, as a means of operating all G. C. Miinistries:  Bible Advocate Press; Ministries Training System; National Women's, Young Adults (SWORD), and Youth (NFYC) Ministries; and Mission Ministries (including Missions Abroad).

-All members-at-large and those who attend independent churches.  Many of our members and sympathizers find themselves unable to regularly attend an affiliated congregation.  They are invited to participate with us in this worldwide ministry by sending an amount equal to 15% of their tithe as an expression of their unity with us in fulfilling Christ's great commission.  Use this address for contributions: Church of God (Seventh Day), P. O. Box 33677, Denver, CO  80233-0677.

If you wish to talk to someone about financial support for any project (including Disaster Relief), contact Bill Hicks at carlylehix@aol.com

2. Prayer Support -

A Note from your Zone 1 Representative...
Greetings from Canada and the United States, where the Church of God (Seventh Day) began.

In 2008, the North American church celebrates 150 years of history in this corner of the world.  To learn the highlights of our history, read it on pages 16, 17 of every “Bible Advocate” magazine this year, starting in January.  Also, join us for an International Tour that visits our IMC brethren around the globe each year (p. 31 of every “BA”).

While the Church began here, we are thrilled at how rapidly it has grown into more than thirty countries on every inhabited continent. Much of that growth has been in the last thirty years.  God is at work in His Church, and we are happy to join hands with all our global brethren in cooperation with Him. It is wonderful to be part of a work that He is blessing—the International Ministerial Congress!

When you visit in the U.S.A or Canada, or if you consider relocating to our part of the world, please contact us so that we can direct you into fellowship with the Church scattered across both countries.  Please pray that the Church in North America will recapture the zeal of our founding fathers, even as we continue growth in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

For Grace and Truth, in Christ
